Our incenses are made by the Cooperative of Tibetan Refugees from Panipat, located in India. This Cooperative was founded in 1977. At the time, Tséring Norbu, Incense Master, started to manage the handmade production of traditional incense upon the request of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Since then, the little community, comprised of only five families at the time, grew in numbers. The Cooperative now has 50 employees, and, next to traditional incense, crafts the greater part of the medicinal incense of Men Tsee Khang, the University Hospital of Tibetan medicine in Dharamsala.
